The Board of Directors supervises the business activities of the Company. It defines the company's strategy and the principles of corporate governance.

Philipp Ries

President of the Board of Directors

Philipp Ries has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2017 and its President since April 2020. He has been working for Google in Zurich since 2010, and has held the position of Head of EMEA Assistant Distribution Partnerships since July 2018. The tourism and digital expert has many years of experience in the management of SMEs and in the manage- ment of international corporations. He is an active investor and start-up coach and, since 2016, he has been active in the tourism sector as a member of the advisory board of the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons. Philipp Ries holds a master’s degree in Computer Science & Economics from the University of Zurich and has completed in 2014 the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University. Philipp Ries is a Swiss citizen.

Dr. iur. Christine Hehli Hidber, Schweiz

Vice President of the Board of Directors

Christine Hehli Hidber has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2019 and its Vice President since April 2020. She is a partner at law firm Binder Rechtsanwälte in Baden. Prior to this, she worked as a legal advisor and Head Corporate Legal at a major bank in Zurich and London for ten years. As an independent lawyer, Christine Hehli Hidber today advises and represents both national and international clients. She is a member of the board of directors and vice president of a cantonal bank and member of the board of directors of an engineering company. She has knowledge of the travel industry and the hospitality sector. Christine Hehli Hidber is a Swiss citizen.

Ruth Steimann

Member of the Board of Directors

Ruth Steimann has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2020. She has more than 25 years of industry experience in the tourism sector. In her latest position at Hamburg Tourismus GmbH, where she worked for more than eleven years, she was responsible for the tourism marketing for the city of Hamburg. Prior to that, she had worked for many years for ZDF in Mainz in travel management, which included a position as team leader. She also has extensive international tourism experience from the United Arab Emirates and Japan. Ruth Steimann is characterized by many years of management experience, entrepreneurial and networked thinking as well as negotiating skills. She has been a member of the Audit Advisory Board in the “Tourism & Hospitality” department since 2019 and a Hapimag shareholder for over 15 years. Ruth Steimann is a German citizen.

Lukas Kreienbühl

Member of the Board of Directors

Lukas Kreienbühl has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2020. He has been Group CFO at Kuoni Global Travel Services since 2014. The company offers destination services in the areas of accommodation, transport, excursions and activities, and event management. From 2008 to 2014 he was CFO/COO of the AO Foundation, one of the most important medical network organisations worldwide with over 10 000 physicians, OR staff and scientists in over 100 countries. As an expert in fi nance, he has extensive fi nancial experience in various industries, company sizes and countries. Lukas Kreienbühl studied business administration (majoring in accounting), holds an Executive MBA degree from the University of Zurich and a CAS degree in corporate governance from the IMP Institute of the University of St. Gallen. Lukas Kreienbühl is a Swiss citizen.

Hassan Kadbi

Member of the Executive Committee and of the Board of Directors

Hassan Kadbi is CEO of Hapimag and a member of the Board of Directors since 2020. He has been working at Hapimag since 2005. At the beginning, he worked as a Resort Manager in Bodrum, then as an Area Manager for Greece, Morocco and Turkey, before assuming responsibility as Chief Resorts Offi cer for the operational management of the resorts. He has served as CEO of Hapimag since November 2016 and since 2020 member of the Hapimag Board of Directors. Prior to 2005, Hassan Kadbi worked globally in various positions for Hilton. He has a Bachelor of Arts in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Bournemouth (GB) and a Higher Diploma in Hotel Management from the IHTTI School of Hotel Management in Neuchâtel (CH). In 2019, he graduated from the Executive Program at the Stanford University
Graduate School of Business. Hassan Kadbi is a Lebanese citizen.
